Michael Corey Chan was bestowed upon the title of Prince of Cariati by the Royal House of Italy under the patronage of Princess Marie Elisabeth de Balkany.  The title was formally granted by His Royal Highness Vittorio Emanuele, the late Head of the House of Savoy and son of the Last King of Italy.

His Highness is an Employee & Labor Relations Leader and also serves as the Honorary Consul for the Republic of Estonia in San Diego County, CA & Clark County, NV.  He has been bestowed upon various honors by the  House of Bourbon Two Sicilies, The Kingdom of Bunyoro-Kitara in Uganda, a Papal Ambassadorship, the Pope Francis Charity and Leadership Award.  His family are proprietors of the fashion label Lafayette 148 NY with operations in New York City and China. 

When time permits, he enjoys supporting various charities/organizations, snowboarding, traveling and walks with his two Corgis (a Cardigan and Pembroke).  Prince Michael is fluent in Spanish, Chinese and English.  He was awarded a second degree (Nidan) black belt in Jujutsu by the International Bujutsu University - Imperial Temple of Japan.
